Once in a lifetime shot

Mike Weber is a photographer inspired by nature, adventure, and developing a personal connection with the planet around us. Traveling and exploring regions in the Arctic Circle, Iceland, and Antarctica, to name a few, Mike is determined to connect and document the true sense of nature, its beauty, and unforgiving elements. Living in San Clemente, California, Mike has a passion for the Pacific Ocean, it's marine life, and surf photography. Having surfed in the past, he understands the therapeutic connection to the ocean and the goal of operating with the earth's energy to move about the unstable water in a smooth and systematic way. Mike always discusses surfing as a sport and the tremendous amount of physical energy required even for the very beginning athletes.

Mike's photography focuses directly on the surfer in a very close and personal perspective. His vision is to show what the surfer is experiencing at that particular moment in time, by examining the body's balance, board control, positioning to water, and facial expressions. When his photographs tell a story, he has accomplished his goal.

Mike continues to expand his presence locally and within his community of San Clemente. He strongly supports the surf community and will continue building solid relationships in the future.
